Boys and young men ages 12 to 24 at Oregon's largest youth prison are placed in isolation, now called “safety intervention,” for serious assaults, threats and mental health concerns including suicidal tendencies. They must have been involved in violence or pose an imminent threat of harm to themselves or others.
Reflects contiguous time in isolation and may include out‑of‑room time.
